I would love to see the return of my favorite punishment for crime of such magnitude:
Place a pike in the pavement in front of the corporate headquarters of an offending firm, and put the severed head of that firm’s CEO atop it–to serve as a warning to others. Let it get picked at by scavengers until all that’s left is the skull.
We’d have far fewer banking crises as a result.
