“Who steals my purse steals trash”

Jon Stewart of the Daily Show gives the most concise, entertaining 10-minute lesson on what exactly happened during the still-warm banking industry rape and theft crisis and how banks and corporations steal, and steal, and steal, and do so legally.

I would love to see the return of my favorite punishment for crime of such magnitude:

Place a pike in the pavement in front of the corporate headquarters of an offending firm, and put the severed head of that firm’s CEO atop it–to serve as a warning to others. Let it get picked at by scavengers until all that’s left is the skull.

We’d have far fewer banking crises as a result.
