Our very own home-grown politico wackadoodle Michele Bachmann did her trademarked waffle-step on last Sunday’s Meet the Press:
The interviewer neglected to touch upon an important item, however. The very government shutdown Bachmann claims to shun would have happened had the stopgap spending measure that got through Congress hadn’t passed.
And Ms. Bachmann voted against that measure.
Why would she do that, you might ask yourself? Because the stopgap measure did not contain measures to defund Planned Parenthood.
Don’t the cretinous waterheads in Washington have more pressing matters than trying to stop an organization that freely distributes sex education, birth control methods for men and women, and gynecological examinations? (PP, by the way, will hand out abortion referrals but performs no abortions. None.)
