ThinkProgress has run a story about the third time that 96-year-old Raúl Héctor Castro has been stopped and/or detained by U.S. border guards in Arizona.
The irony is that Señor Castro is a judge, a former governor of Arizona, and has been a U.S. ambassador — hardly following the typical profiles for drug mule or gun dealer.
This time he was forced out of his car in 100+-degree summer heat and detained in a canvas tent, despite repeated requests to take some consideration for his age and medical condition.
Racial profiling much?
