The Onion is such an amazing snapshot of what’s called source amnesia – forgetting where you heard information, which leads to the misinformation spreading. It’s a pretty fascinating phenomenon.

I stopped giving when this foundation started terrorizing the “little people” and “little foundations” over their perceived copyright infringement court battles over the use of the phrases “the cure”, “race for the cure” and the color pink and “the cure”. I wonder how much the Komen Foundation has spent in terms of donations and energy to fight these petty battles over who “owns” these phrases. So how can I possibly believe a word any Komen Foundation spokesperson makes now?
