"From out there on the moon, international politics seem so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck, drag him a quarter million miles out, and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch!’ ” -- astronaut Edgar Mitchell

Great blog you've got here. I love the "Redefinitions" on the sidebar - they made me crack up. Your referring to the candidate as "Dick Santorum" is subtle genius. Lastly, while you do have a good number of them here, I wouldn't mind seeing even more Republican quotes - there are just so many that highlight the utter insanity and complete lack of morals in the party.
Speaking of The Onion, have you seen this site (not mine, though I really wish I'd thought of it): http://onionlike.tumblr.com/
A co-worker showed it to me, and I've been hooked since.
The Onion is such an amazing snapshot of what's called source amnesia - forgetting where you heard information, which leads to the misinformation spreading. It's a pretty fascinating phenomenon.
Keep up the good opinions.

I will never donate one penny to their foundation. I stopped giving when this foundation started terrorizing the "little people" and "little foundations" over their perceived copyright infringement court battles over the use of the phrases "the cure", "race for the cure" and the color pink and "the cure". I wonder how much the Komen Foundation has spent in terms of donations and energy to fight these petty battles over who "owns" these phrases. So how can I possibly believe a word any Komen Foundation spokesperson makes now?

This is also one of the most litigious charitable foundations who have made it their business to go after people and little organizations who use the phrases: "for a cure". "for the cure" , or "race for a cure". Really despicable and ironic considering some of the people they went after were raising money for the Susan G. Komen foundation or other cancer foundations. Also you cannot use the color pink in conjunction with "cure". An interesting article: http://amazingprmaven.blogspot.com/2011/01/aggressive-komen-brand-management.html
